Tater Du Lighthouse

Tater Du Lighthouse overlooks the Inner and Outer Bucks and is situated in a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Tater Du is Cornwall's most recently built lighthouse and was constructed in July 1965 by Michael H. Crisp. It is controlled from Trinity House in Penzance and is fully automatic. Overlooking the Inner and Outer Bucks, which are two rocks that are partially exposed at low tide and is a popular dive site the lighthouse was built when the Juan Ferrer a Spanish coaster was lost at Boscawen Point in 1963.
