Property Details
The house itself is in reverse style with the spacious living area on the first floor. The living space is open plan but split clearly into the kitchen area, the dining area and a relaxing sitting room. The sitting room area comprises 2 large three seater sofas and 2 easy chairs. The large dining table can easily accommodate a large group around it. On the lower ground floor, there are 2 double rooms, 2 twin rooms. The master double bedroom has an en suite shower room and there is an additional separate family bathroom and shower room.
Accommodation
Ground Floor: Open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room with wood burning stove. Entrance hall with utility area & separate WC. There is access on to the deck area from the kitchen.
Lower Ground Floor: Master bedroom with king sized double bed & TV and en-suite shower room & WC. Double bedroom with a king sized double bed. Two further twin-bedded rooms. There is a separate family bathroom with over bath shower & WC and a further separate shower room & WC.
Exterior: The enclosed deck has external table & chairs and BBQ.
Facilities & Services
Heating is via oil fired central heating and the wood burning stove. The kitchen has a range of modern equipment. There is a double electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge / freezer and dishwasher. There is a separate utility area with a washing machine & tumble dryer. The sitting room area has a flat screen digital TV & DVD player. There is WiFi available at the property. There is an iron & ironing board.
Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. Up to 2 dogs are permitted at Whitestones at the cost of £30 per dog per week. No smoking. There is a cot & high chair available upon request. Parking facilities for up to 3 vehicles. The Owner has an annexe to the side of the Lower Ground Floor which is occupied occasionally for their own use.

Short breaks are available during quieter periods.

Property Location
St Mawes has so much to offer the visitor. St Mawes Castle was built by Henry VIII and is a splendid place to take in the views of the Carrick Roads. There are miles of coastal and countryside walks to take in and some idyllic beaches on which to relax and watch the world go by. The little Place Ferry takes visitors to explore St Anthony's Head or there are regular ferries to Falmouth. Being situated on the seafront, the village is also known for the restaurants and pubs that serve superb fish and shellfish dishes all year round. There is a selection of pubs & hotels with restaurants (including the renowned Tresanton Hotel) all within easy walking distance. There is a range of shops all within a few minutes’ walk including a well-stocked Cooperative store, Post Office, chemist, butchers, and art, book and clothes shops. The village also has a doctor’s surgery and a dentist’s surgery.
