Fistral Beach holds many surfing competitions throughout the year, and also hosts Run to the Sun over May Bank holiday, a VW and Custom Car Show. Great position, lovely garden. Great for dogs/BBQ/Hottub. Kitchen has every utensils you would find in your own home, even some scales for a spot of baking, irresistible when you have the luxury of an Aga. Bedrooms all massive. House not too POSH that you're frightened to sneeze and a lot better than some property's that allow dogs. Thanks for the lovely welcoming scones, clotted cream, jam and tea.

Had a lovely week away for our mums 60th. 9 of us in total with 4 dogs who thought the garden was great. Lots of space and great location just a 10 minute walk down to the beach. Hopefully be back again soon, thanks Pendowr house.

We stayed at the house as two busy families looking for a relaxing break. We couldn't have asked for more. The house had plenty of space for 4 adults, 7 children and 5 dogs!!! We all had a great time making the most of the proximity of the beach and the fabulous fifteen restaurant, as well as the beautiful surrounding area. We all had a fantastic time made all the better by fun evenings in the hot tub.

We were a family of 11 staying for the christmas week in Pendowr house - great house, loads of room and very clean and comfy. Great location with a 5 minute walk down the road to Watergate bay.

Lovely, spacious house in a great location. We loved the wood burning fires, comfortable beds and thoughtful welcome basket. Excellent value. Would recommend.

Our group of 8 adults (all over 50 years of age) stayed for a short break this November. The house was in a good location as we could walk to the beach, but wouldn't have liked to have walked during the summer as the road would be too busy.We found the house rather small if there were any more in our party, as it is advertised to take 12 but you wouldn't be able to sit 12 around the dining table at one time (even is some were children) The house was rather 'tired' around the edges and could have done with a really good clean (eg: the skirting boards were dirty and the dish drainer was a bit 'manky'). Positives - Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Our neighbour Dan was a really lovely young man who gave us a lovely welcome and was really helpful throughout our stay. Negatives - The CD didn't work. We would have found it helpful if we knew we had to provide our own bin liners, washing up liquid etc. What was advertised as a utility room was only an old cupboard (which smelt musty and I didn't want to investigate further than the door). We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property, but with reservations relating to the 'finer details'.
Guest from Ross-on-wye stayed for 3 nights.
A fantastic house in a fantastic location. We booked online and had no idea what to expect but this house was amazing and exceeded any expectations we may have had. Super comfy with generous size rooms and a kitchen with everything you would possibly need, a real home from home. We celebrated my Mum's birthday here and it was great to be able to accommodate the whole family in one place, she didn't stop smiling all weekend. I would definitely recommend Pendowr House, we really didn't want to leave.
