Great find
Reviewed on 02/10/2020

We really enjoyed our stay at the Treasure box. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, milk and a bottle of wine. This was a nice touch. The living space was a good size. Comfortable sofa, good WiFi connection and well equipped kitchen etc. We went as four adults. The second bedroom with single beds was okay but very minimal storage so you will need to share with the main bedroom as plenty of space in the large wardrobe. You can unload outside the property but parking is a few minutes walk in a free car park which we found great as always had spaces available. There is a Spar shop opposite for any forgotten item which is handy. The only thing extra I would have liked to have seen would be recycle boxes of some sort. It pained us to throw packaging out that could be recycled. I appreciate its in a tricky place to put anything outside.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Treasure Box. Easy to find and easy access to the property. Parking outside overnight and theres a free car park just behind the church on the one way system. The flat is clean and tidy, small amounts of milk, sugar, tea and coffee are provided on arrival and with the spar shop accross the road it's easy to grab something if needed. Towels are provided and any cooking or cleaning utensils you may need are easily accessible too. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Leaflets about the surrounding area are provided along with a folder on recommended places to visit too. 10 minute walk away from the chocolate factory. 20 minute walk away from Mullion Cove. 10 minute drive to Lizard Point. This flat is just what we needed and couldn't be better situated.

A week's Summer break for a family of four
Reviewed on 02/09/2018

We had a lovely week's holiday stopping at the Treasure Box apartment. The apartment was just perfect and provided all we needed for a enjoyable, comfortable stay. The apartment was well laid out and included all you needed for a family holiday. It was extremely clean and tidy and finished off to a high standard, and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice that the kitchen had extras like a washing machine and tumble dryer (we didn't use the dryer) but it was nice that the apartment had one. The TV also had Netflix, which helped entertain the kids when we got back after a busy day exploring or relaxing after a day at the beach. We found it a great base for exploring Cornwall, and although the apartment doesn't have parking, you are allowed to park overnight directly outside the apartment from 5.30pm until 9.30am the next day, which we did, but the car park was only down the road, so we didn't find this any bother. Would highly recommend the local take away curry from just around the corner, open on a Tue/Wed/Thur in the Summer. It was delicious and we even had to go back out to get extra nan bread, it was so nice. Would also recommend the local beach of Poldhu, super beach with lots of rock pools and great cafe. We really enjoyed our days there, and the kids loved it. I would highly recommend this apartment for a couple or family of three/four, it's a perfect base for a Cornwall holiday. I hope one day we will return.

We could not rate the Treasurebic more highly for our stay in Mullion. The owners have thought about every comfort you could ask for and it made an even better experience to an already fantastic apartment! The quality of the fixtures, fittings and furnishings of the property are top notch, even little touches, like leaving soap, washing up liquid, tissues, tea, coffee, etc. made us feel at home. Well done Liz and Laura...your property does you proud!

A lovely place to stay
Reviewed on 24/08/2016

This is an excellent flat above the printers in Mullion. First impressions outside it looked a bit scruffy as the shop below is for sale and needs a spot of new paint. However, once inside the flat it is a lovely bright and spacious open plan kitchen/lounge. There are excellent leather chairs that provide comfort and style and the room has large windows to all aspects that make the space bright and airy. The kitchen is clean and very well equipped with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, tumble dryer and washing machine, all in good working order. Although we had a minor problem with the dishwasher, Lawrence came straight round and rectified this. When you arrive there are beautiful fresh scones with jam and clotted cream waiting for you, which was most welcome after our long journey. The owners have given real thought to what you might need and there is even a clothes airer, which was very useful. The bedrooms are quite small but manageable. The bathroom is clean and has an electric shower over the bath. The shower is adequate and the shower head is not clogged, as often found in hotels. I would highly recommend this flat and although there is no outside space you feel in touch with the outside as it is so light and airy. The location is great, with a Spar opposite for all your essentials and a pretty town with a great pub, The Old Inn, that served excellent food. Mullion is within easy reach of lots of great places to visit.

A relaxing stay at The Treasure Box

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at The Treasure Box. We were greeted with a lovely cream tea, beautiful flowers and all the 'little extras'. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very light and airy, and very well equipped. The location was great, right in the centre of the village opposite a very well stocked Spar shop. It was not however noisy. We had a curry from The Cornish Curry Company one evening and would recommend it! Our takeaway was delicious and enjoyed by all! The location of the flat was brilliant for walking and exploring the coastal paths and we barely used the car. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is a real gem and we absolutely loved it.

This small but well appointed apartment is in an excellent location in the centre of the village, opposite the main village shop and a few yards from the pubs and bus stops. The open plan kitchen / diner / living room is fairly compact, but the kitchen is well equipped, including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The only drawback was the awkward arrangement of the twin beds in the second bedroom, which is L-shaped. Overall, this was a good choice and we enjoyed our stay.

The location was ideal for exploring the county with the lizard and lands end a short drive away. The harbour at Mullion cove was lovely as was the beach in the next cove along, where we even ventured in to the sea (in late September!). We will certainly be back again next year.. thanks for the great time (and also weather)

The apartment is in the most wonderful location with so many beautiful walks and beaches within 10 - 15 mins walk. Stunning scenery all around. Apartment spotlessly clean, modern, extremely comfortable and so well equipped with everything you could possible need for your holiday. The village has a friendly convenience store opposite, two pubs, small cafe and restaurant. There's an excellent 'Cornish Currys' service two or three times a week offering tasty homemade food too. Great location for exploring the scenic Lizard area and Falmouth and Truro are within easy driving distance along with the excellent St Ives town and many other lovely cornish fishing villages, secret coves and remote beaches.
