Wonderful Location and Comfortable Lodge
Reviewed on 16/08/2016We had a lovely week at Trewince. It is the most idyllic place. Wonderful views and beautiful beaches. The lodge was well equipped and comfortable but some updating is needed. When you're paying around AGBP1200 for a week you expect everything to be in great condition but it wasn't. I also think it's a bit mean not to provide towels (not even a tea towel). I wouldn't mind any of this if it wasn't so expensive. It is a welcoming and homely place to stay and, due to the wonderful location I would consider returning.
sophy replied:
I am pleased to say that towels are now provided for all guests. The mattresses have also been replaced and there are new goose down duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets. But I was sorry to hear there were no tea towels at the property for your stay. These are usually provided but unfortunately there was a housekeeping mix-up on my side. I do hope you will return to Seagreen Lodge one day.

Sea Green: A Fabulous Lodge
Reviewed on 08/08/2016Wow! A truly wonderful lodge ensured we had a perfect holiday with our two toddlers. The location is spectacular and the lodge itself is spacious, impeccably clean and offered holiday luxury with home comforts. The use of the lovely, quiet pool was a welcome addition too. Views of the sea and little horses in the neighbouring field were also gorgeous. Sophy provided us with lots of useful information to make sure we got the most out of our stay. We will most certainly be back!

Seagreen Lodge
Reviewed on 25/07/2016Nice quiet rural setting in a pleasant part of Cornwall. Other parts of the county easily accessible with plenty of attractions. The lodge was very suitable for our needs but could have done with a centrally placed mirror in the top bathroom - for shaving.
The Owner replied:
Thank you for your suggestion. There is a wall mirror each side of the sink but the sloping ceiling makes it harder to fix one up opposite the sink.

First Impressions Count
Reviewed on 28/06/2016On arrival at Trewince Manor, we drove past well kept lodges and arrived at Seagreen lodge to be met with all the double glazed units misted up and looking shabby. The wooden platform outside the front door was in poor condition. When we got inside things didn't improve. The kitchen area was very tired looking, particularly the worktops and the back of the sink was black. The outside furniture could do with a coat of varnish. The downstairs toilet seat needs replacing as it moves alarmingly!. We liked the artwork in the lodge but feel money should have been spent on updating the fixtures and fittings. This is a true review of what we found.
sophy replied:
Thank you for your feedback. The double-glazing and outside furniture have since all been replaced and a new worktop and appliances installed. The lodge has been revarnished and the trellising and wooden platform have been replaced.

Our holiday 9 to 16 October 2015
Reviewed on 20/10/2015We really enjoyed our stay in the lovely lodge. The name plaque was missing but we traced it by photographs. Inside the lodge was very nice and comfortable, well set up with a few things like light bulbs were gone. Outside the lodge needed some restraining and unfortunately most of the double glazed panels need replacing. Having said all that we would re-visit.
sophy replied:
Thank you for your review and I am really glad that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you too for advising on the bulbs and gate which are now fixed. All the double glazing has now been replaced as some had started to mist.

Sea green lodge
Reviewed on 20/09/2015The lodge was lovely and homely, it was in a good area, with swimming facilities. The lodge was spacious and provided us with all the necessities that were needed. However, the location was a little far away from any major resorts or attractions, resorting in a long commute on days out, aside from that- would definitely recommend.

A wonderful holiday destination
Reviewed on 27/08/2015I almost selfishly don't want to write this review in case it encourages others to discover this gem! A lovely lodge, in a fabulous little holiday park in the most beautiful area of Britain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A delightful space for a family holiday
Reviewed on 21/09/2014This was our first family holiday as adults aged 65 - 35 with a baby.We all found the lodge and its surroundings to be excellent. Having the pool and cafe nearby was a bonus although not having wifi in the lodge was a shame..
sophy replied:
Thank you for your lovely review. Trewince now has WiFi which is available in all the lodges although it is not always a strong signal during busy times.

Great house in a great location
Reviewed on 25/08/2014A comfortable lodge with all the facilities you will need. The lodge is located on a well managed site with a number of other lodges but the layout and design mean you don't feel surrounded. Views from the lodge are fantastic, the nearest NT beach being a 5 minute drive away and the addition of a shared swimming pool means you have something to do in all weathers.

Paradise location
Reviewed on 27/04/2014If you're looking for a quiet, unspoilt and beautiful location, where you make your own entertainment.. This is it, especially out of high season. Really great that the pool and spa are adult-only for a couple of hours after 7pm. As a couple without children, you don't always want to share every second of your holiday with everyone else's! The walking around is superb. Really enjoyed with the dog. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and in the sunshine I can't see that you'd find anywhere more beautiful. Staff very helpful on site. And booking company staff also fantastic: Sophy was always in speedy email contact and was very helpful when I thought if left something behind in the lodge. Lodge was well-equipped (esp kitchen) and comfortable. Downstairs bed and bathroom a bit cold and needed an airing.. But I wouldn't let this be too concerning as it was prob just because it was very early in the season. We only used upstairs, and that was great.
The Owner replied:
I'm so glad you had a good stay. There are portable radiators in each room and heated towel rails for those cold spells when the downstairs bedrooms are in use too.
