A lovely place to stay

We had a great week in Mylor Bridge, a pretty village which was an excellent base for exploring. Good local amenities - village shop, butcher, fish shop .. the Lemon Arms was very friendly with good pub food, the Pandora Inn along the coast is well worth a visit. Would also recommend Trebah gardens - beautiful. The cottage was just what we needed (especially as it was dog friendly with a nice enclosed garden) and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is small, as described on the website, but who wants to cook huge meals on holiday and there is a bbq in the garden! There was plenty of on-street parking just along from the cottage and we managed to park long enough to drop off stuff - although the entrance to the track up to the cottage is easily missed on first arriving. Just follow the owners' instructions though and you should be fine!

Late August fun in Cornwall

We stayed in Mariners Cottage for 4 nights and it was perfect for our needs. Mylor Bridge is a beautiful little village, with the house just over the road from a play park and fantastic village shop. The house was itself lovely - cosy rooms and easy to look after, with everything you might need in terms of crockery and cutlery. And Rob was always responsive and very helpful. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay - thanks very much for having us!

Mariners Cottage

This is a lovely quaint little cottage in immaculate condition. My only constructive criticism is that I would suggest that the owners pre-heat the cottage before guests arrive as it was v cold and even with the fire roaring it was tricky to keep warm. Also a larger volume of wood/coal would help. A great location with many interesting places to visit nearby.

Very nice cottage in excellent area

Its a nice, clean cottage. A little bare inside and a set of new towels would be good for the future. Excellent service and response from the owners.
