Crantock occupies a breathtaking position in Newquay on the Pentire headland with outstanding, forever changing, views across Fistral beach, at low tide there are acres of golden sand and the clear blue sea with its brilliant colours drifting from magical turquoise to ultramarine. Newquay golf club is a 5 minute walk away as is the bustling town centre. To get to Crantock beach (for the able-bodied and not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs), there is a footpath and then steps down to a ferry landing stage from where you can take a very small foot ferry over to Crantock beach. Otherwise you would need to drive round to Crantock. You are guaranteed to have that holiday feeling the instant you arrive at your destination.

Fistral Court is an exclusive development and Crantock is a spacious property over 3 floors with amazing views of Fistral Beach in fact, on entering the property from Pentire Avenue your eyes are immediately drawn through the open plan kitchen and dining area to the magnificent sea views, there is a shared swimming pool, heated from May through to September it is rarely crowded and can also be viewed from the balcony and lounge. The double aspect lounge is bright and sumptuously furnished with a large Smart TV and new sofas . The bedrooms are immaculate and the master also has fantastic views of Fistral. There are few better places to enjoy a sundowner in Newquay.

Accommodation
Ground Floor: Enter into an open plan kitchen dining area with fully fitted units and appliances and a central island unit which doubles as a dining area. There is a sliding door which opens onto a substantial balcony with table, chairs, a parasol and 4 sun loungers, the balcony looks down on to the shared pool and across to Fistral beach. From the main hall stairs lead to:
First Floor: The stairs open on to a landing area that has doors leading to; Lounge with comfortable seating and TV and sea views. Double bedroom with 5' bed and storage, en suite bath room with bath and shower over, WC and hand basin. Further stairs lead to:
Second Floor: Small landing with doors to; Master bedroom with 5' double bed, storage and sea views. Family shower room with WC and hand basin. Bunk bedroom with 4' double on base and 3' single above.
Exterior: There is a dedicated garage, there is usually space for parking closer to the property either on Pentire Avenue itself or where you turn off into Fistral Court. Balcony area accessed only from kitchen / diner.

Facilities & Services
There is a gas central heating system with radiators throughout. The kitchen has a range of fully fitted cupboards & work tops. There is an electric oven and induction hob, there is a microwave, toaster, kettle, under counter fridge & two under counter freezers. There is a dishwasher and a combined washer / dryer. The sitting room has a digital Smart TV with catch up and Netflix. Unlimited WiFi is available at the property. There is an iron & ironing board. There is a hair dryer.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included but you will need to provide your own beach / pool towels. There is parking available for up to 1 car in the garage and unreserved space either on Pentire Avenue or Fistral Court. Regrettably there is no smoking. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs may stay at Crantock at a small additional price of £30.00 per dog per week, although please remember that you cannot leave dogs unattended in the property alone. There is a high chair and cot available on request. The pool is open between May and September.

These days Newquay's excellent surfing waters are the town's main industry, where as it once used to be a major export port for counties mining efforts as well as a north coast port for pilchard fisheries. Fistral Beach holds many surfing competitions throughout the year, and also hosts Run to the Sun over May Bank holiday, a VW and Custom Car Show. Both the Womens and Mens Gig Championships are held here, as a balloon festival and surf and lifesaving events. Newquay Zoo now houses 130 different species in sub-tropical gardens in the centre of the town.

Watergate Bay and The Extreme Academy offers you a 'ski resort on a beach' and a plethora of activities to keep even the most active occupied. Fifteen Cornwall, founded by Jamie Oliver in 2002 sits on top of the two mile beach at Watergate offering inspirational views for the young chefs and professionals to create fantastic menus from local and seasonal produce. The Lappa Valley Steam Railway just outside Newquay offers both the old and young an interesting day out. Newquay Airport has made the north coast one of the easiest places in Cornwall to get to, with regular flights from various locations across the UK. The town also has an Aquarium, a Waterworld and numerous immensely pretty beaches for the less active. Trerice run by the National Trust is 3 miles outside of the town is an Elizabethan Manor House and Garden with restricted winter opening times.
