Wonderful stay

We had superb week at Rivermead Farm. Starting with warm welcome by the hosts and welcome basket deluxe (I never saw so many delicious things as a welcome gift in a holiday cottage), the really spacious grounds with lots of things to do for the kids, the lovely interiour of the cottages, a more then well equipped kitchen and a BBQ outside, Rivermead Farm is located perfectly for trips to many sights, the sea, the moor and many places more. And then there were TC and Wellington! We travelled with two families including 4 kids age 5 to 12 and EVERYBODY was happy! But unfortunatly we had just one week... I hope we can come back some day.

Great location

Positives: The location was superb with large river frontage, beautiful countryside, small lake, hide, areas for the children to play. Welcome basket very generous with quality products (best jam ever!). Negatives: Keeping the children out of the kitchen was a problem as you had to pass though it when going between the living room and the bedrooms and toilet/shower room. The bright security light outside the cottage woke the children at night as cars from the adjoining property arrived back. Ironing board, mop and hoover were placed near the entrance limiting the amount of space for boots etc.

A great week in Cornwall

We enjoyed our stay in a beautiful location. The hamper of goodies on arrival was most welcome. This was a good base to tour the local area. The cottage was clean and beautiful, well equipped kitchen, convenbienbtly situated and quiet to come back to each evening. It may seem a minor point, but as keen cooks we especially appreciated a set of decent knives to use. So often these are cheap and blunt but not this time.

Superb location

We wish to convey our delight in staying at Bluebell Cottage. It had everything anyone could possibly require especially kitchen wise. A very welcome hamper was provided on arrival with a wide selection of Cornish products. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, on hand if you needed anything or just to chat and explain the best places to shop or eat. Lovely peaceful cottage in the country, we really loved it.

A Great Place To Stay

We had a lovely holiday here. Very welcoming and a lovely hamper waiting to be used. The beds were so comfy and it was clean throughout. Lovely walks in the grounds, seeing lots of wildlife. There were outdoor games waiting for us to play eg football, crochet, boule, swing ball to name a few and books to read for those not so active. It is central for many places and only a short drive away from the coast and lovey beaches. Marjorie and Kevn were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. Memorable family holiday based at Rivermead Farm Cottages

We had an excellent holiday based at Rivermead Farm cottages. The cottage (Bluebell) was fully equipped (including shared washing and drying facilities, essential with young boys!) and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the welcome hamper and the lovely home made scones! Kevin and Marjorie were very friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive. We were lucky enough to enjoy eating our dinner at the picnic bench outside the cottage most evenings and had several pleasant walks around the grounds by the lake and river. The location was great, with easy access to both south (less than 30 mins) and north coasts (~40 mins) as well as local attractions such as Retmorel Castle. We have already considered returning next year.

One week in paradies !!!
