Property Details
Newquay Harbour is also a short walk, on the town edge. Historically a significant port but now a working fishing harbour and a hub for water sports including kayaking and paddleboarding along with fishing trips and powerboat rides. If water sport isn’t your thing, then sit and relax with a drink and watch the family from the Harbour Fish & Grill or Boathouse bars and restaurants.
The outstanding award-winning Lusty Glaze Beach, a privately-owned beach, restaurant and water sports complex is a short drive across the town. On the other side of Newquay is Crantock beach, just over Pentire headland and can be accessed by foot or by a short ferry ride across the Gannel River. This tidal estuary is just fabulous for kayaking or paddleboarding at high tide. RNLI lifeguards patrol all of the main beaches in Newquay during the primary holiday season.
Anella is part of the development at Tregunnel Hill, built on Duchy of Cornwall land and completed in 2016, and hence the house benefits from all modern building standards. It is warm, well insulated and tastefully decorated throughout the interior. It is also one of very few fully detached properties on the development. There are two driveway parking spaces, a private, enclosed secure garden for storing bikes or boards and a large patio at both the top and bottom of the garden. There is a large open plan kitchen/diner to the rear with doors leading out onto the patio and multi-level garden areas. Inside are a sumptuous living room and spacious accommodation, including a master bedroom with en-suite and two further bedrooms. Anella is a superb family holiday home from where you can enjoy all that Newquay offers.

Perfect Pet Friendly Holiday Home - just 10 min walk to the Beach & Town -Will Definately Stay Again
Reviewed on 25/10/2020Anella is a fantastic holiday home in Newquay. The location is great, being just a 10 minute stroll to Fistral Beach or Newquay Town Centre. We also found the house is a great location when we wanted to explore more of Cornwall. The communications received pre-arrival were extremely helpful and we found the property with no problems. It is exactly as the pictures show - very pretty, well decorated, homely and extremely comfortable. The goodies on arrival were also a lovely touch :) In Covid times, we found the house to be very clean, with a Track and Trace QR code available to scan. The house is fully equipped with everything we wanted - plenty of cutlery, crockery, everything that we needed when we wanted to cook. The beds were extremely comfortable and we never failed to have a good night sleep. Black out curtains meant that we slept until we were ready to wake without hints of sunshine peeking through. The bathrooms were lovely and clean, with a full sized bath. The showers in both the family and en-suite bathrooms were hot and produced decent power too. The outside space worked well for us - plenty of parking, we were able to safely store our bikes and boards in the lockable back garden and our puppy really enjoyed running around in the grass. It was also really nice to use the sun loungers as we were lucky enough to have glorious sunshine on a few days of our October holiday. Overall, we all really enjoyed our holiday at Anella, would definitely stay again and very much recommend it.
