Daphne du Maurier set a number of her much-loved novels in Cornwall; she lived for many years in Fowey and her home is clearly marked for visitors to observe. The Literary Centre forms part of Fowey’s Tourist Information which is conveniently located in the heart of the town and well worth a visit. As well as selling copies of all of her major work, there is a wealth of information on Fowey’s most famous literary figure and the inspiration behind her popular titles. A range of quality gifts and books are also available in the shop.
