The Plume of Feathers - 01872 580321
The Plume is right in the heart of Portscatho. The landlord, Graham Thomas is one of Cornwall's longest serving publicans and will give you a warm welcome. Good quality, traditional pub food is served here and it is a great place to stop if you are walking the coastal footpath around Portscatho or St Anthony's. The Plume is really the heart of Portscatho and is a cracking village pub.
The Boathouse - 01872 580326
The Boathouse is a family restaurant right on the square in Portscatho. Don't expect anything special here, but you do get solid homecooked great value food. Perfect for taking the kids for an early evening meal or grabbing a lunch on their little patio after a good morning walk!
The Royal Standard, Gerrans - 01872 580271
We have not been here fore some time, but by all accounts, the current landlord is doing a good job. Good pub meals and snacks and a nice little beer garden.
The Driftwood Hotel, Rosevine - 01872 580644
Over the last few years, the Driftwood has emerged as one of Cornwall's highest rated boutique hotels. It is situated in a wonderful spot overlooking Gerrans Bay and even has its own beach! Expect top food, top service and top prices, but don't go if you are hungry and looking for a big meal as the portions are a bit on the small side. It is all about the "experience" and yes the tastes are amazing!
The Rosevine - 01872 580206
The Rosevine has been transformed over the last few years from a country hotel to a very chic and expensive collection of serviced self catering apartments & b&b. Although we have not eaten there, reports have unfortunately not been great. It is a stylish place so expect to see high prices with food and service to match.
