All properties have been recently refurbished and offer the perfect escapes from everyday life!
Wild Escapes are often in remote locations and although superbly presented, do not offer a wealth of facilities, so please do not expect washing machines, dishwashers etc and access to properties might be on gravel roads which might be uneven.
What you can expect is a peaceful holiday in superb surroundings (which maybe a little wild) where you can relax and experience the best of Cornwall.
Escape to one of the most beautiful, unspoilt areas of Cornwall! Hidden away on a remote tract of the Lizard peninsula near Kennack Sands, Wild Acres Studio is a well thought out refurbishment of this rustic coastal building in a wonderful location just 100 yards from the beach and with splendid 180 degree sea views. The property is very well presented by the Owners inside, whilst being positioned along some of the wildest coastline in Cornwall!
Wild Acres Studio is located about 75 yards from the main Wild Acres Cottage and shares the same access road, although the sites are reasonably separated, they can be used in conjunction for larger parties of up to 14 people.
The building itself was believed to be a former coastal lookout station, but has now been converted into a comfortable holiday home with fantastic views.
The conservatory on the front of the building is a brilliant place to just sit, read a book and enjoy the views of the coast.
It is really ideal for just a couple or a family with young children as the 2 bedroom is quite small and only has a bunk bed.
Wild Acres is made up of 2 properties - Wild Acres Cottage sleeping 10 and Wild Acres Studio sleeping 2 adults and 2 children.
The 2 properties are about 50 yards from each other on the same site and can be used together for parties of up to 14 people.
Accommodation
The property is all on the ground floor, but there are a few steps up to the building.
Ground floor only:
Lounge area, kitchen, conservatory all with views.
Main double bedroom with door to the conservatory and link door through to a bunk bedded room.
Facilities & Services
Heating is via heaters. The kitchen is nicely fitted & has a fridge with freezer, microwave and Belfast sink, but there is no washing machine & no dishwasher.
Heating is via electric heaters.
TV & DVD player in the lounge. There is an iron & ironing board. The property does benefit from WiFi, so please feel free to take your laptop!
Miscellaneous
Electricity, bed linen & towels are all included, but you will need to bring your own beach towels. There is parking available at Wild Acres, but please do bear in mind that access is via an unsurfaced road that needs to be taken very carefully.
IT IS UNSUITABLE FOR CARS WITH LOW GROUND CLEARANCE.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at a small cost of £25 per dog per week. We regret no smoking is permitted.
A welcome pack is provided in the cottage for your arrival, but also available as an extra is a very special hamper selection of Tregothnan produce including Kea plum jam, honey, Tregothnan tea & chocolates. There is a cot & high chair available.
General Booking Information
Arrival / Departure is a Friday.
Short breaks are available during quieter periods.
£100 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
