Nearby, at Philleigh, The Roseland Inn offers superb food all year round, with roaring fire in the winter, or outside seating for the summer. Carne and Pendower beach, the biggest on the Roseland is five minutes away, with coastal walks in all directions. St Mawes is 10 minutes by car with plenty to see and do as well as a foot ferry to Falmouth. Heading back into Cornwall The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a pretty 30 minute drive away. As is the Eden Project in St Austell.
