We had poor weather so the large comfortable house was ideal, would come again. The local pub was excellent. Some of the cooking dishes were cracked and need replacing otherwise it was well furnished.

Guest from Rugby stayed at Trevissick Farmhouse for 7 nights in August
As two families holidaying together, we couldn't have asked for more from Trevissick Farmhouse: there was plenty of space for the children to play in both the house and the fantastic enclosed garden; beautiful beaches and lovely walks nearby; the house was well equipped and spotlessly clean and we all loved saying hello to the cows in the adjoining fields. We would certainly recommend both the accommodation and Cornwalls Cottages and hope to visit again soon.

Guest from Chorley stayed at Trevissick Farmhouse for 7 nights in July
Our family has just enjoyed a second wonderful visit to Trevissick Farmhouse and it was every bit as good as our first. The highest standards of cleanliness, facilities and comfort have been more than adequately maintained. This truly excellent property is set in beautiful country surroundings and yet is a short walk and even shorter drive to access Porthtowan. The owners, Liz and Bob, know what they are about and know how to present a holiday property to the highest standard. We had everything we needed and would not hesitate to recommend Trevissick to anyone. We intend to return here for a further holiday in the future......... We love it and think you will too.

Guest from Costock stayed at Trevissick Farmhouse for 7 nights in May
The house was lovely and we had a nice stay despite the weather. My only negative comment is that the double bed in the purple room is extremely squeaky to the point that someone turning over can be heard loudly in the room next door. It was bad enough to drive us to sleep in other beds as it was disturbing sleep.

Guest from Wolverhampton stayed at Trevissick Farmhouse for 7 nights in April
Probably the best holiday rental we have stopped at. The accommodation is very well presented with everything that you need for a very pleasurable stay, including lovely welcome goodies . Location wise it was perfect for us with only a short drive to St Ives, Perranporth and Newquay. The farmhouse is located down a narrow private lane but not an issue at all because the lane was relevantly quiet when we were there (and I am sure this is not unusual). The boys were kept happy with lots of golf courses locally and the little boy we had in our party loved keeping his eye out for the occasional tractor in the farmyard. All in all a fantastic stay.

Iain J from Warminster stayed at Trevissick Farmhouse for 7 nights in April
Overall the property was in super condition and was well equipped and had a good layout. Beds were very comfortable. Only two things to note. The main fan oven did not heat up over 150 degrees c so needs looking at and the microwave clock makes a strange and loud noise

Customer testimonials

We have nothing but high praise for the accommodation and the thoughtfulness of the owners. Everything was spotless, and of a high quality. The booking process via yourselves was easy and we were kept well informed of all information and transactions. Thank you all.
Mrs Smith , Aug 2013
We had a fantastic stay at the Farmhouse which was in a great location and easy walking distance to the beach even for our 3 year old children. The house was very well equipped and presented overlooking the rolling countryside. The garden was very safe for all the children who loved waking up and going to say hello to the cows in the adjacent field. We would definitely book it again. Overall we had a great break with no rain just a lot of wind, lovely house and very accommodating owners.
PW, May 2013
What a lovely house, spacious, warm, inviting. My dog has been totally spoilt with the garden and walks to the beach and pubs! I can't wait to come back!
H Onions, Essex, Nov 2012

Teresa & Wayne Sheehan, Staffs, Oct 2012
Wow, what a stunning place! Fantastic location, brilliant walks, great local pubs and great for two lively dogs. Very sad to leave but we will be back, hopefully very soon.
R & J Betts, Sep 2012
What a fantastic holiday we have had here! We have had many lovely days out but equally have enjoyed our time here in your very special house. Thank you for making us feel so at home, you have truly thought of everything. We could write for pages about our time here - rest assured we'll be back. Thank you again.
The Robertsons, Sep 2012
We have had a fantastic holiday here, the house is lovely and very roomy and comfortable. The children had great fun discovering all of the rooms and they loved going to say good morning to the cows every morning! Everything was thought of that would be needed - Thank you! We also had a great meal at the Victory Inn and would recommend a visit.
Feeney Family, Sep 2012
We have all had a great time and felt very at home. All the care that has been put into making this great house is clear and we all appreciated the fab decor, surroundings and extra things to make it so much fun. Thank you - we'll be back!
The Day Family, Sep 2012
Lovely holiday home in a quiet location. Lovely location close to the beach. Great to have the dogs with us who loved a run on the beach in the evening! Very well renovated and all the 'mod cons' you need to make self catering less of a hassle! Thank you from all of us.
Piper Family, Herts, Aug 2012
The owners have created a fine, comfortable and well equipped home. We would love to take the wet room home with us! Unfortunately, as others have commented, 2012 has been golden for Team GB but for us holidaymakers sol has been elusive. Despite the weather this has been an enjoyable week.
Jones Family, Surrey, Aug 2012
The peaceful well set up house made our stay all the better. Rest assured you will get glowing reports to our friends and family.
Flower Family, Aug 2012
Another fantastic fun-filled week in lovely Cornwall, courtesy of the owners and their beautiful farmhouse which we have all loved staying in. Thanks for giving us five very, very happy boys! And I'm very proud to report the weather was absolutely glorious all week long. Horray!
Corp Families, Jul 2012
You made a wonderful job of this splendid farmhouse and we have enjoyed our stay immensely. Many thanks for your little welcoming touches which really are appreciated. We were lucky enough to get a decent week's weather and were able to explore and enjoy this wonderful part of the country. The warmth and friendliness of you and your family will always be remembered. Hope we will see you all again. Thank you.

Jackson family, Jun 2012
Thank you for our stay in your lovely house. The weather has not been as good but we have had a wonderful holiday and hope to return one day. Thank you once again.
C Ayers, Jun 2012
We can't thank you enough for our warm welcome and our stay in your beautiful farmhouse. Despite the typical British weather we've had this week it's been made easier having this wonderful house to come home to. We can't wait to return. Thank you.
Wheatley Family, Herts, Jun 2012
What a wonderful house! Despite the weather hasn't been so nice some of the time, this house is so cosy that we haven't been so disappointed spending some days in. Also, a particular thank to the owner; we really appreciated the perfect conditions the house was made available. Nothing to complain about: awesome!
D Ghibaudo, Italy, May 2012
Wow! What a fantastic farmhouse. It has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard. The accomodation is perfect for an extended family with two large bathrooms and ample space where you can be together or you can find quiet when needed. We had some lovely days out in St Ives, Padstow, Lizard Peninsula and Sennen Cove, all within easy reach as the farmhouse is pefectly located in a small village with uspoilt views but close to the main roads to get about. The Victory Inn up the road serves lovely food and it is a really friendly atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely holiday, we hope to be back in the future.
Brooker Family, Coventry, Apr 2012
A truly fantastic week in Cornwall for the whole family made all the more memorable by the lovely holiday home that has been created here on the farm. We can only say thank you for making our stay here so pleasant and for contributing to a wonderful week that all our children will remember forever.
D Corp, Apr 2012
We only have good things to say about the house which has been extensively refurbished to create a beautiful holiday home. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for all the thoughtful touches which have made this a lovely week. The girls loved the beaches and the train to St Ives, digging, paddling and ice cream. Perfect!

Occupying a dramatic valley location with one of the most spectacular and beautiful beaches of the Atlantic Coast, Porthtowan has been drawing visitors for years to take advantage of its natural sun trap. A superb location for a holiday to Cornwall with a fine beach and close to good main roads means that you can easily explore the surrounding area on days that are not conducive to sitting on the beach.

Porthtowan has one of Cornwall's finest surfing waves. Producing good waves at all states of the tide, the wave is particularly good in an easterly or south easterly when it really pumps with some lovely hollow barrels. It is not for the faint hearted and beginners should be careful. An excellent surf school operates from the beach. At low tide the beach stretches down to St Agnes Head and Chapel Porth Beach where you will find a lovely National Trust Cafe full of warming hot chocolate and fabulous views. From Porthtowan you are ideally located to reach the many beaches on the North Coast famous for attracting keen surfers and beginners alike.
