The majestic view from the Studio of giant atlantic rollers crashing onto the Brisons, two rock islands about a mile out to sea, can be totally hypnotic. Gaze past the spray and in the distance are the Scilly Islands some 28 miles off lands end. At night Wolf Rock lighthouse and the loom of Bishops Rock off the Scillies reassure mariners of their course.
The Studio has the most dramatic section of the South West coastal path on its doorstep, it is an easy drive to the ancient town of Penzance, the artists favourite of St. Ives, spiritual St. Michael's Mount or of course the wealth of beautiful sandy beaches, coves and headlands. Inside, the apartment is a well equipped and tastefully decorated, it is open plan with a screen to separate out the bedroom and a modern shower room.
Cape Cornwall Golf Club is 50m away and with this are excellent bar and dining facilities.
Ground Floor: The entrance porch leads into an open plan kitchen, living and dining room separated from a double bed area, which can be screened off for privacy, by a well appointed shower room and toilet.
Exterior: The apartment has a small grass area in front of the property with bench seating in front of the magnificent vista, there is also a more secluded and partially decked area with table and chairs and access to a BBQ.

Cape Cornwall, England's only Cape, rears 229 feet out of the Atlantic and offers spectacular views over the Western Approaches and Land's End. The Cape was aquired by the National Trust in 1987 to protect the area and its rare flora and fauna. Ornithologists can spot Cornish choughs, peregrine falcons, sparrow hawks and many other sea birds. Sheltered Priest's Cove with its rocky beach and sea pool, is within 5 minutes walking distance and is still used by local fishermen. The Cape was originally believed to be the Western most point of the mainland but usurped when accurate cartography proved this was in fact Lands End, a mere 4 miles South (and very slightly West!)
There are many beautiful valleys leading to other coves and beaches in the area, all of which are accessible from the nearby Coastal path.
Cape Cornwall tin mine was operated intermittently between 1838 and 1883 after which time it was closed, the 1864 chimney from the mine has been left as a navigational marker for shipping traffic and stands tall on the top of the Cape. The surrounding National Trust farm land has been converted into an 18 hole golf course with leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool (although this is currently being renovated). There is also a bar and dining room open to non-members. Weekly membership of the Golf and Leisure Club is available for visitors. Both Sennen Cove, with its long sandy surfing beach, and Land's End are within easy reach. St. Ives and the Tate Gallery are a short drive along the coast road through some of Cornwall's best moorland and Heritage tin mining areas. Local shopping facilities are about a mile away at St. Just and the larger resorts of St. Ives and Penzance are within easy driving distance along with many attractions including St Michael’s Mount and The Eden Project

All you need for a relaxing holiday. Clean, warm, comfy and convenient location. Next time I won't order the sea mist, but then again why would I book a holiday by the coast in February if I didn't want to see the changes in the weather?

We had another great week here, out every day walking the coastal path and returning to relax in such a comfortable well equipped spot with those wonderful views. I don't think we will ever tire of it.

Very good (as we'd expected from previous stays in the block). To add further comment would be nit-picking! But next time we would return to a larger apartment within the Nanpean Barn.
Guest from Langenfeld stayed for 14 nights.
If you want to get away from it all, do stay at Cape Cornwall. Ideal for getting onto the coastal foodpath & the sights in the area. St Just handy for shops and pubs.
Guest from Lytham St Annes stayed for 7 nights.
The views and location would be hard to better. Good that the basic essentials were supplied as well, which is not always the case. The golf club for wifi connection were very helpful and eating there was very nice as well. Initially we found mobile phone connection very poor in the studio but later realised that the best connectivity occurred when we left phones on the dining table in the right hand corner. Facilities in the outbuildings were good with washing powder etc also provided. Washing cycles were a lot longer than expected. We had a super week and would certainly hope to return soon.

This studio flat is just right for 2 people, although you could fight over best seating position for the view! Well furnished and equipped. The view over the golf course to Cape Cornwall is perfect. Perfectly located for coastal path walking, however the bus service could be better in tying up so that you don't have to walk both ways. Also good for St Ives, Penzance, Minnack Theatre and much more if you want to ring the changes. Cornwall at its best - quiet and unspoilt.

We had a wonderful week at the Studio. The views from the property were the highlight, sitting on the sofa and looking out over the sun setting over Cape Cornwall was truly breathtaking. The accommodation itself was comfortable, fresh and contemporary. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to make some great meals using lovely local produce. It was more than big enough for the two of us and we appreciated the dishwasher in the apartment and the washing machine just opposite, great extras! We would definitely return.

After a couple of times in Cornwall we have to say this is the place to stay. A perfect location and base to explore the Cape Cornwall area including St. Ives. The costal footpath is only a few meters away, St. Just has good pubs and the viewing around the cape Cornwall bay is stunning.

The cottage is in a great location with stunning views available from the window. Great customer service and a nice stay. Parking space is a touch tight since it's in the nearside corner, but no real issues. The cottage itself was in good condition and it was clean. Would recommend to anyone considering a remote stay surrounded by great views with some peace and quiet!
Guest from Chorley stayed for 7 nights.
Beautiful location, amazing views of the sea from inside and outside the property. Very quiet location. Owners very helpful and friendly. Spacious accommodation for two people. Full cooking facilities which were tested thoroughly by us as we both have special diets so cooked our own food every day. Only issue was that the information we received before arrival was that towels are provided so we didn't take any of our own. However, we were only provided with one bath and one hand towel each for the whole week which meant we had to spend time washing and drying them every day. Not a problem - we'll just take some of our own towels next time......

Great flat, good location and views, weather cold, too windy and exposed for me. !..............................................................................................................

How could you get much better than Nanpean? Mr Turvil has done a superb job creating the apartments and The Studio works well for two people, being compact but feeling quite spacious with the dual aspect allowing the light to flood in. The view from the window is unbeatable, dramatic and ever changing, it would be possible to spend a week just gazing out. One of the bugbears of staying in cottages is parking space - Nanpean has dedicated spaces so that's another big plus point!
Guest from West Bromwich stayed for 5 nights.
It's a lovely comfortable place. The only small thing was not enough hot water. The shower ran cold during the second shower most days and it went a little chilly at night. Night storage heaters. The owners particularly asked that you do not interfere with them.
Sorry about the hot water. I will check that the timer is correctly set and adjust to allow a longer heating period.

A lovely location to enjoy the westernmost past of England with the rugged coastline, Atlantic rollers and wonderful coves on your doorstep. The Studio has great views over Cape Cornwall with its iconic tin mining chimney and watching golfers taking on what is one of the most beautiful and challenging links courses in England. With St, Ives, Land's End and tourist attractions like Flambards all within easy drives makes being at the 'end of the lane' no problem, and the local town of St Just is delightful to visit by foot. The Studio has every convenience and the booking process matched its quality. What a pleasure to meet the owners who live nearby and have clearly invested in the property over many years, and their attention to detail is evidenced by the many repeat visitors of their guests!

Nanpean Studio is small but very well equipped and ideal for a couple. The location overlooking Cape Cornwall is stunning with St Just and its amenities just a short walk away. We had an excellent stay at this property and would highly recommend it. Thanks Paddy Lynch

A very nice studio set in a great bay.Close to st just we walked in most nights.Fantastic views and great two week break. Our only concern was quite hard to park in bay one and the issue of no dogs when other units allow.
Guest from Wantage stayed for 7 nights.
Absolutely faultless accomodation for two (or one) in a perfect location just above the Cape. The view from the living room window is breathtaking, an absolute picture postcard. The location is ideal for anyone who just wants to walk everywhere, forget the car, and let the magic of the West Penwith peninsula blow away all the cobwebs of modern living.
Guest from Willenhall stayed for 7 nights.
We had a lovely week at The Studio, Nanpean Barn, the views from the window seat over the golf course were absolutely stunning, and the sunsets too. The studio itself was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean with everything you need. A short walk down to the cape gives you a choice of coastal walks, with stunning views all around. We will return as soon as we can.
Guest from Kirkoswald stayed for 7 nights.
A comfortable clean and well equipped holiday property in a converted barn with modern furnishings, compact but not cramped, and with everything needed to hand, in an excellent location overlooking Cape Cornwall, with wonderful views and sunsets, good coastal walking and interesting places to visit nearby. We will definitely be returning!
We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in The Studio and look forward to seeing you again.
