Located close to the centre of the historic market town of Bodmin, this lovingly converted barn is in a very convenient location for exploring Cornwall. The north coast is within a 20 minute drive and much of Cornwall is within easy reach because of the proximity of the A30 to the property.
The barn is superbly converted featuring an upside down design with 3 bedrooms and bathroom with an over bath shower on the ground floor. There is a well equipped kitchen with large lounge area upstairs featuring full-length windows..
The barn has underfloor heating throughout.

Heating is via underfloor heating. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven & gas hob, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave. There is a communal washing machine & tumble drier for laundry purposes. The living room area has a flatscreen TV & DVD player with CD & radio. There is an iron & ironing board available.

Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included.There is plenty of off street parking available. We regret that no dogs are allowed. Regrettably no smoking is allowed.

Bodmin was the former county town of Cornwall for many years and the only Cornish town to be recorded in the Domesday Book, which was lodged in the town's prison during the First World War. The county prison is now a museum and open to the public. It was the first prison in the country to have separate cells. The oldest part of the town is made up of mainly granite buildings clustered around the Bodmin Beacon. The Beacon is a 144 feet tall obelisk in memory of Sir Walter Raleigh Gilbert. The area around the Beacon which has woodland and traditional hay meadow was declared a Local Nature Reserve in 1994.
Nearby Bodmin Moor, bisected by the newly expanded A30 is home to one of Cornwalls Areas of Oustanding Natural Beauty. Reaching a height of 1,377 feet above sea level at Brown Willy, Cornwalls highest point. The heather covered granite moorland provides East Cornwall with the most stunning country views and rugged walks. Near Blisland you will find two of Cornwalls stone circles, the Trippet Stones and Stripple Stone Henge and just round the corner, one end of the famous Camel Trail. The 18 mile Camel Trail follows the route of the old railway along traffic free paths, providing a fairly flat cycle through Bodmin and Wadebridge out to Padstow, eminently suitable for families.

The End Barn was lovely, had everything we needed and gave us a lovely base from which to explore and then to return and relax in. The facilities and equipment were excellent, the property beautifully clean and arriving to a cream tea after a 6 hour journey was lovely! We would love to return again and would recommend the property without reservation. Many thanks to you and your colleagues for your contribution to our very enjoyable Cornish holiday.

We were very pleased with the End Barn accommodation in Bodmin. It provided for all our needs and was very convenient for visiting most of Cornwall. We will highly recommend it to friends and family. We were also impressed with the quick smooth process of booking the accommodation and taking upresidence in just over 24 hours.
