Tawny Owl is a superb three bedroom property forming part of a completely new barn conversion on the superb Bejowan Barns development about 2 miles from the spectacular golden sands at Porth Beach just outside of Newquay on Cornwall's Atlantic coast. Constructed during 2010, this excellent conversion offers very comfortable accommodation for up to six people in a double, twin and bunk bedded room. It is in an extremely central location in Cornwall within a few miles of the A30 which means that even places like St Michaels Mount are within a 45 minute drive. All the superb facilities of Newquay are on your doorstep including the magnificent surfing beaches, great restaurants including Jamie Oliver's Fifteen at Watergate Bay and some dramatic walks along some of the finest coastline in the British Isles.
Immaculately fitted out and presented by the Owners, Tawny Owl is spacious and provides very comfortable accommodation throughout. The kitchen is modern & fully fitted and there is a spacious bathroom with a separate bath & shower. Outside, there is a shared courtyard area with tables & chairs. The Owners also own some land down towards the beautiful valley and they will allow you to wander & explore.

Ground Floor Only: Open plan living room & kitchen area. Followed by a Master double bedroom (4'6" bed), a twin room and a bunk bed room. There is a separate bathroom with shower & WC.
Exterior: Shared courtyard area with external furniture & 5 acres to explore down to the woodland.
Facilities & Services
Heating is via central heating throughout. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven & hob, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer, microwave & washing machine. In the living room there is a flatscreen digital TV & DVD player with CD & Radio. There is an iron & ironing board available.
Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included. There are parking facilities for up to 2 vehicles. We regret that no dogs are allowed. Regrettably no smoking is allowed. There is a cot & high chair available.

These days Newquay's excellent surfing waters are the town's main industry, where as it once used to be a major export port for counties mining efforts as well as a north coast port for pilchard fisheries. Fistral Beach holds many surfing competitions throughout the year, and also hosts Run to the Sun over May Bank holiday, a VW and Custom Car Show. Both the Womens and Mens Gig Championships are held here, as a balloon festival and surf and lifesaving events. Newquay Zoo now houses 130 different species in sub tropical gardens in the centre of the town.
Neighbouring Watergate Bay (5 miles from Quintrell Downs) and The Extreme Academy offers you a 'ski resort on a beach' and a plethora of activities to keep even the most active occupied. Fifteen Cornwall, founded by Jamie Oliver in 2002 sits on top of the two mile beach at Watergate offering inspirational views for the young chefs and professionals to create fantastic menus from local and seasonal produce. The Lappa Valley Steam Railway just outside Newquay offers both the old and young an interesting day out. Newquay Airport has made the north coast one of the easiest places in Cornwall to get to, with regular flights from various locations across the UK. The town also has an Aquarium, a Waterworld and numerous immensely pretty beaches for the less active. Trerice run by the National Trust is 3 miles outside of the town is an Elizabethan Manor House and Garden with restricted winter opening times.
