Trevelgue Court is a quiet development of some older Cornish properties just minutes from the golden sands of Porth Beach.
With just a handful of properties surrounding the attractive courtyard, this is a delightful and peaceful place to stay.
The cottage is away from the bustle of Newquay, yet close enough to visit all the attractions and the spectacular coastal walks.
There are some of the best surfing beaches in the UK and some superb restaurants and pubs nearby including Jamie Oliver's Fifteen.
All in all, this really is a great place to stay.
Stable Cottage is all on the ground floor which makes access easy for all.
There is an open plan kitchen / living room and dining area with windows that overlook the courtyard and enjoy views of the surrounding hills towards the village of St Columb in the distance.
Two bedrooms and a shower room lead off the inner hallway.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven & hob, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer, and microwave.
There is a flatscreen digital TV & DVD player, CD & Radio. There is an iron and ironing board available.

Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels.
There are off road parking facilities for up to 2 vehicles.
We regret that no smoking is permitted.
Regrettably no dogs are allowed.
There is a cot & high chair available.
General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods.

Porth is a little seaside village situated in a valley surrounded by countryside just outside of Newquay.
Porth Beach is fashionable with families as it is considered to be one of the safest beaches in the area.
These days Newquay's excellent surfing waters are the town's main industry, where as it once used to be a major export port for counties mining efforts as well as a north coast port for pilchard fisheries. Fistral Beach holds many surfing competitions throughout the year, and also hosts Run to the Sun over May Bank holiday, a VW and Custom Car Show. Both the Womens and Mens Gig Championships are held here, as a balloon festival and surf and lifesaving events. Newquay Zoo now houses 130 different species in sub tropical gardens in the centre of the town.
Neighbouring Watergate Bay and The Extreme Academy offers you a 'ski resort on a beach' and a plethora of activities to keep even the most active occupied. Fifteen Cornwall, founded by Jamie Oliver in 2002 sits on top of the two mile beach at Watergate offering inspirational views for the young chefs and professionals to create fantastic menus from local and seasonal produce. The Lappa Valley Steam Railway just outside Newquay offers both the old and young an interesting day out. Newquay Airport has made the north coast one of the easiest places in Cornwall to get to, with regular flights from various locations across the UK. The town also has an Aquarium, a Waterworld and numerous immensely pretty beaches for the less active. Trerice run by the National Trust is 3 miles outside of the town is an Elizabethan Manor House and Garden with restricted winter opening times.

Stable Cottage was a joy to spend two weeks in. Lovely relaxing evenings after hectic days exploring and enjoying. What great facilities you have hidden away in drawers and cupboards!! The people in the neighbouring homes were very welcoming, so all in all a really great holiday. THANKS
