Offering dramatic views out to sea and across Widemouth Bay, it is a great spot to spend a holiday. The coastline here is so dramatic - the beaches at Millook Haven and Crackington Haven are made spectacular by the surrounding cliffs and the coastal path offers walkers some of the finest coastal views in the country.
The entrance to the apartment is through a shared entrance hall with the Owners accommodation on the ground floor. Accessed via a flight of stairs, the apartment occupies the whole first floor with 3 bedrooms, a good sized sitting / dining room and a fully fitted kitchen. The style is older than many properties available, but it is presented in an immaculately clean condition by the Owners and overall offers superb value for money.
Please note that Penhalt Farm house is located on a campsite which can be busy at peak season, however visitors are only allowed around the edges of the field, there is no obstruction to your view. There is an incredibly useful campsite shop which sells basic groceries.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via central night storage heating. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There is a double electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washer / drier.
The sitting room area has a flatscreen digital TV & DVD player. There is an iron & ironing board.
Miscellaneous Heating through the night storage heater, bed linen & towels are all included, however electricity is on a meter system therefore you will need to bring £1 coins to operate it. There is plenty of parking available. Regrettably no smoking or dogs are allowed. There is a cot & high chair available as well as a stair gate.
General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday. £100 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
Widemouth Bay is a varied and interesting beach with a long open bay. At the northerly end of Widemouth there is a large sandy area that becomes more exposed as the tide drops and to either side of this the sand gives way to some fantastic rock formations. The beach is ideal for families, whether you wish to swim, sunbathe, surf or hunt for marine life in the hundreds of rock pools. Lifeguards are present during the season. These are some of the best beaches in Cornwall so don't miss the chance to try your surfing or 'boogie' boarding skils. There are a number of surf schools in the area.
For Walkers and Cyclists the area is full of superb routes and Bude lies at the centre of the most dramatic stretch of the South West coastal footpath. The arduous climb up the lane from Millook Haven is infamous amongst cyclists! There are numerous local villages and landmarks to explore and much of the area ia a nature lovers paradise.
Bude is only a couple of minutes down the road and has the full range of facilities that one would expect of a small town including a wide range of shops, pubs & restaurant.
