We stayed in the Nook at East Thorne Kilkhampton in June 2016 and had a fantastic time. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and explained all the facilities and local area very well. The cottage itself was open plan downstairs and very clean, comfortable and very well equipped, the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom were all good sizes with a practical layout. The site also contains a number of yurts and was flat and safe for children. The actual location was perfect for our visits to Bude, Widemouth, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscatle, Clovelly and Bideford which were all easily accessible off the A39, we returned on the "B" roads which were well signposted and very picturesque. We would definitely recommend a visit and will most likely visit again ourselves.

Guest from London stayed for 2 nights.
Though our stay was short, it was a lovely place to stay in. We had a bit of an issue with our car, but with the help of Naomi and Adam, we were able to fix a solution up in no time. My friends and I would recommend anyone and everyone to spend a weekend or more at one of the cottages and experience how different and calming it can be to be that far away from everything else.
Guest from Lindford stayed for 7 nights.
We had the most relaxing week in Cornwall which was made even more so by staying at the lovely Nook cottage, not only was it of a very high standard but the atmosphere of East Thorne was excellent for which Naomi and Adam should be complimented for. We will definitely be back in Cornwall in the future and will keep East Thorne high on our list of potential places to stay.

Guest from Chipping Norton stayed for 3 nights.
A nice cottage in a nice location, it would have been a little more comforatble if the mattress was not wrapped in plastic, but overall a very good short break
Thank you so much for your review and your feedback. Unfortunately we have to use waterproof mattress protectors for hygiene purposes. Sorry if you felt this uncomfortable as I know most people in their own homes don't use them. The protectors have a cotton liner but I could look to see if there is an extra comfort option.
