Midships is an immaculate, new build property with magnificent views over Falmouth Marina and the Penryn River, built over split levels it boasts a large, bright, spacious, open plan living area with tri-fold doors that open onto a large decked area immediately above the waterfront. Beautifully furnished and equipped throughout this is one of the best locations for a truly memorable holiday. The master bedroom suite on the top floor has its own private sun deck and more stunning views.
From Midships it is a short, level walk past the Greenbank Hotel and Royal Cornwall Yacht Club into the heart of Falmouth and here you can enjoy the wealth of fine restaurants and thriving pubs that this vibrant town has to offer. At the far end of town is Events Square and the National Maritime Museum where the Falmouth Oyster Festival and the shore-side activities for Falmouth Week are based, amongst others, during the year. There are also regular ferries from the Prince of Wales Pier and Custom House Quay that are well worth a day trip with destinations such as the beautiful St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula or further up the River Fal to Trelissick Gardens, Malpas or Truro.
Entrance Level: The entrance is at the rear of the property, and you enter into a small hallway with doors leading to: Double aspect third bedroom with 4'6" double bed and storage; Family bathroom with shower over, WC and hand basin. Steps lead down to mid-level.
Mid-Level: Landing with stairs up to Entrance level and Top level and down to main living level. Also doors to: Second bedroom with 5' (King size) bed, storage and ensuite shower room; Small utility Room.
Main Living Level: The stairs open into a large, double aspect, open plan living area with L shaped sofa, Smart TV, eight seat dining table, kitchen area with fully fitted units. There is a wide trifold door to the front that opens onto a deck area suspended above the waterfront, there is a second sliding door from the dining area that also opens onto the same deck that stretches around the side of the property.
Top level: Stairs arrive at small landing with large glass ceiling that extends over the stairs, there are doors leading to: Shower room with WC and hand basin; Master bedroom with 6' (Super King) bed, plenty of storage, sliding doors to private sun deck, separate sliding door to the front aspect.
Exterior: There is parking for 2 cars to the rear of the property and a separate parking spot opposite the rear of the property. To the front is a large decked area suspended above the water which extends to the side of the property where there is an external Rattan 8 seater dining set. There is a second private sundeck on the top level with 2 seat table and chairs and a sun lounger. There is access to a communal slipway. The property also boasts a drying mooring and length of Versa Dock under the decking.
Facilities & Services
There is an underfloor central heating system throughout. The kitchen has a range of cupboards & worktops. There is an electric oven and induction hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge & freezer and Nespresso machine. The sitting room has a Smart digital TV with freeview and catch up TV. There is an iron & ironing board. There is a cot and high chair. There is a combined washing machine and tumble drier in the utility room. There is unlimited superfast broadband WiFi.
Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is parking available for 3 cars to the rear. Regrettably there is no smoking. Unfortunately dogs are not accepted.

Falmouth is one of Cornwall's most popular places to visit because of its unique mix of attractions, water sports, beaches, history and place to eat. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Pendennis Castle are both high on visitors' lists of places to visit and the views from Pendennis on a fine day are truly magical. Falmouth is the sailing capital of Cornwall with its spectacular deep water natural harbour offering a haven for both cruisers and racers. Many events are held through the summer culminating in the famous Falmouth Regatta Week and associated shore side events. These events are easily reached on foot as Royal Cornwall Yacht Club is 5 minutes down the road, Falmouth High Street is a 10 minute walk away and Events Square is about 15 minutes by foot.
As a university town many events are arranged by the students including annual exhibitions of art and photographic work. There is a Sainsbury supermarket 2 minutes away by car and a large Asda 5 minutes away.
The beaches at Gyllingvase & Swanpool are coarse sand and are wonderfully sunny south facing spots. You can ride the ferry to beautiful St Mawes for the day or take a delightful trip around the estuary stopping off at either Trelissick Gardens or Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea! There are plenty of places to eat & drink in Falmouth and recently Rick Stein has opened his Fish & Chip Restaurant & Oyster Bar at Discovery Quay adding to the superb mix across the town.

Stayed as a family of 3 and one partner, for 7 nights, in August, travelled in 2 cars, ate in half the time, ate out half the time. Arrival instructions excellent, adequate parking for 2 cars. Arrival using key box is great for late arrivals. The flat has got 3 bed and 3 bath which was perfect, all fittings were of great quality and clean. Pleasure to have under floor heating, and heated towel rails, which were responsive and weren't time restricted. Cleanliness great on arrival, with a lovely platter of welcome scones, jam and cream! Dishwasher provided, with tabs, foil and oil provided, with washing up liquid, kitchen roll etc. A few herbs and spices there too. Washing machine was new and clean, with a range of programmes, biological powder provided, great for washing clothes after a day at the beach. Quiet location with breathtaking view, we were taken aback by quite how nice it was even after having seen the pictures. Local amenities great, with a decent sized Sainsbury's 2 mins away and a Lidl a bit further. Easy walk to falmouth center, can't comment on public transport. Soft furnishings all clean and comfortable, plenty of storage in wardrobes and chests. We got a better rate going directly through Cornwall cottages than through AirBNB so shop around!

Every night from about 8 till midnight there was a live band playing in what seemed to be the large building to the right of the property.Is this the norm as the building looks like a boat yard?

The property is stunning. Superb views, fabulous facilities, beautifull decore and furnishings. The master bedroom is a real treat with spectacular panoramic views and wonderful sun deck. The living area with lounge, kitchen and dining area is comfortable and has everything you need. We sat and watched the boats come and go and the swans meander past for hours in perfect peace. We are a bit fussy but the property was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented and we even had scones , cream and jam waiting for us. It is a stone's throw from Falmouth and close to local supermarkets. There are two Parking spaces. We stayed a week and will hopefully go back. You will not be disappointed this is a perfect 10 holiday treat.

A property of undoubted quality in a tranquil location. Beautifully furnished, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. As the weather was poor, we didn't have the doors to the balcony open, but had the weather been better, the noise from the nearby work station could have been annoying.

We stayed at Midships for one week along with my parents. What an amazing property!! The views are spectacular. The property has been finished to a high standard with attention to detail. We have never stayed in a property that we struggled to find any faults with - Midships Well Done!! One thing that is particularly important to us is the cleanliness of the property. We have stayed in several luxury properties before but always found they are not as spotless as promised, but Midships was immaculate so the owners and housekeepers have done a sterling job - Thank you. This is a beautiful house with stunning views and you don't even have to get out of bed to see them. The owners have thought of everything. The house itself is in a very peaceful location and yet is only 10 minutes level walk into Falmouth, passing the nearest pub on the way, The Working Boat which is also fabulous and on the sea front. The weather didn't behave itself at all but we were in such a beautiful house we didn't even notice. Thank you for a lovely holiday and the welcome pack

Some friends and I recently travelled to Falmouth to reminisce on our time together as students living in Falmouth. We chose Midships as accommodation and as soon as we walked through the door we were blown away by the property. Spectacular views of the harbour, plenty of toilets and bath/showrooms and a fantastic living area with doors that lead out to a spacious balcony. Parking was also great. Cornwall cottages and the owners made us feel very welcome and their communication was great. We are looking forward to a longer stay at Midships next year as 3 nights wasn't enough, value for money is amazing. We can't recommend this place enough. Seeing is believing.

I cannot find enough superlatives to describe Midships - We had a fantastic stay at this property. Its on a lovely new development, Midships is one of four river front properties. From the moment we arrived on the drive, there was a massive wow factor, the property is very attractive. The interior design is unfussy and of the highest quality, and obviously a huge amount of thought has gone into the décor and furnishings. There are great view from the two balconies of the river and marina. Every detail has been thought of and we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. This property is definitely a fantasy home by the sea! We would recommend a stay at Midships without reservation.

We stayed here for four nights but wished we could have been there longer. The house has lovely views from the living room and main bedroom and is really well equipped. Spotlessley clean with lovely bedding and towels, it is a real treat. The Cornish cream tea that awaited us was a bonus and very welcome. You won't be disappointed.

From the moment we arrived at Midships we were enchanted with the property and location.The view over the river was gorgeous and sitting on the balcony listening to the sounds from the river and boats was so relaxing. The house is modern and luxurious, it is brand new and the interior design is fabulous. From the bed linens, towels and all of the soft furnishings every detail has been well thought out. We had a cream tea waiting for us from Cornwall's Cottages and they also provided tea,coffee,sugar and milk which was much appreciated. I can't praise this property enough as every room has the " wow " factor from the open plan lounge/kitchen to the sublime master bedroom and bathroom. The property has 3 parking spaces so we often walked into Falmouth town centre to dine or use the ferry service to St Mawes, it is a comfortable 15 minute walk with the river on your left and a raised footpath right on to the high street. This stay has been a huge success and will use this company again.

We had the pleasure of staying at midships for a weeks family holiday, 2 adults, 2 children. The accommodation is actually even better than in the photos, they really do not do this property justice. Everything from the quality linens and towels to the sumptuous furnishings make this property an absolute pleasure to stay in. We were welcomed with a lovely cream tea and a hospitality tray with goodies that got our holiday off to a great start. The views from the balconies are just amazing, as are the sunsets. There is a working boatyard to one side of the view which had occasional noise but certainly did not affect our enjoyment of the property. Falmouth is a wonderful area with lots to do, lovely places to eat, drink and shop and i'd love to return again soon!
Water Side has a stunning water front location with its own private dock and awesome views across Falmouth marina. There is a spacious sun deck, large barbecue and a separate dining area to make the most of the wonderful vista, you will not find a better place to enjoy a barbecue and glass of wine.

This is a great location with wonderful views across the river to Flushing and a superb master bedroom with Juliet balcony which really makes the best of the magnificent view. This lovely Cornish cottage is located in the heart of Flushing village in a pretty terraced street. The cottage retains many of its original features and has a traditional fireplace with log burner and access to a terraced garden overlooking the river at the rear. Usually sleeping 4, there is an attic room with a futon sofa bed for a 5th guest.

Originally constructed in 1703 this beautiful property on the waterfront in Flushing was originally the home of a Merchant Ship Captain. It is Grade II listed and is a superb place to stay overlooking the river. New Quay Lodge forming part of the building, is full of history & character. It also benefits from a quite exquisite private garden to the rear which gets sunshine for much of the day. Private off road parking is available.
New Quay House is the most fabulous, spacious, Grade II listed, part Queen Anne, part Georgian property with the most stunning panoramic views over the water in three directions. There is a private garden with a summerhouse right at the water’s edge and the whole house oozes peace and tranquility.
