Gorran Haven is a pretty little village to the north east side of the Roseland Peninsula with one of the safest beaches in Cornwall. There are some dramtic walks along the coast around here, particularly to the south around the Dodman Point, one of the highest points in the area offering spectacular views up and down the coast. Gorran Haven offers much peace to the visiting population tucked away in a little cove on the South East coast of Cornwall, offering fabulous sea views and coastal walks. Two sandy beaches and a small harbour provide an idyllic backdrop to your stay. If you're lucky you may catch a glimpse of the local Pilot Gig club out rowing of an evening. Typical of small Cornish villages the community life provides many events throughout the season, ranging from Easter Day celebrations to their regatta day during the summer.
Another of our locations ideally situated for visiting both the Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. Neighbouring port Mevagissey is a little larger and perfect for a spot of lunch and a wander around the pier. Caerhays Castle and Gardens, home of the Williams Estate, open for restricted periods of the year, are well worth a visit. As is the nearby rural beach at Porthluney Cove.
