Carnebo Barns are a small collection of self catering cottages with a shared outdoor heated swimming pool just outside the small village of Goonhavern.
With its own village shop and pub serving food, you’re only a short drive away from the world class beaches and nightlife at Perranporth and Newquay.
These traditional barn conversions offer a warm welcome: a short drive away from the main Newquay road leads you to the barns which have far reaching views of Cornish countryside.
The barns sit in a generous plot of land, with excellent leisure facilities for you to enjoy, including a heated swimming pool with BBQ and seating area (open 1st April - September), large enclosed picnic area with children’s play area and pond with fish.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with built-in appliances a micro wave, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
The lounge has flat screen TV with free view and a DVD player.
Carnebo barns are a collection of four traditional converted barns surrounded by Cornwall’s finest sweeping country views, the land on which the barns sit give its guests a surprising amount of outdoor space to enjoy including an outdoor heating swimming pool with BBQ and seating area, a large picnic garden with children’s play area and pond with fish.
Fistral cottage has a small tiled porch that leads you into a carpeted hall way which has a ground floor WC.The lounge/diner is a good size with exposed wooden beams.
The kitchen is off the hallway and up two steps, the kitchen window over the sink looks directly into the garden and children’s play area. Upstairs there is a double and bunk bed room both have an en-suite shower rooms with views out over the open countryside.
Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is parking available for a number of cars on the property. Up to 2 dogs are welcome at a small additional charge of £25 per dog per week. Regrettably no smoking is allowed. There is a cot & high chair available on request.
General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Friday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £100 security deposit pre-authorised on your card is required.
Fistral Cottage is situated less than 1 mile from Goonhavern village that has a traditional Cornish pub and shop, the miles of golden sandy beaches are less than a ten minute drive away. The North Coast of Cornwall has an abundance of attractions like Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and the Eden Project nearby.
Perranporth village is in close proximity and entices sunbathers, surfers and families with its three mile long sandy shores, where you and your family can have lunch in the Watering Hole pub situated in a prime position directly on the beach.
The bustling and lively town of Newquay is a short drive away here you can experience the cool vibe of the surfing Mecca and perhaps even give it a go yourself.
The cottage was great and the pool even better. We had a great family holiday.

A lovely holiday in very comfortable accommodation with an excellent swimming pool. Great location close to Newquay and Perranporth.
