Comehither and its adjoining property Hithertwo are in a quite outstanding position overlooking the stunning beach at Polzeath. This enviable location is perfect for those looking to take advantage of the superb surf in the bay or to maybe explore some of the fascinating walks around nearby Daymer Bay or around the dramatic Pentire Headland. The quaint villages of Port Isaac and Port Quinn are just a short distance away and you can catch the ferry to Padstow and enjoy some of the best food in Cornwall.

Comehither is a basic, but comfortable holiday home benefiting from outstanding views across the beach at Polzeath from either the conservatory or the kitchen. There is a raised grassed area immediately outside the front of the property with a picnic table that is also a brilliant place to enjoy the view.

Comehither can be rented together with Hithertwo to provide accommodation for up to 10 people on the same site.

Accommodation
Ground Floor Only: The entrance leads into the kitchen and then through into the sitting room / diner. There is access to the conservatory with its range of comfortable furniture via large French windows. The master bedroom with 4'6" double bed leads off the sitting room as does the second double bedroom (4' bed) and bunk bedroom (suitable for adults as well as children). There is a separate family shower room with WC.
Exterior: The garden has an external picnic table, chairs and two sun loungers.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via night storage heaters. The kitchen has a range of cupboards & worktops. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, a fridge / freezer and washing machine. The sitting room has a digital TV & DVD player. There is an iron & ironing board.

Miscellaneous
Bed linen is included but you will need to provide your own towels & beach towels. The electricity meter is read on your arrival and you pay for units used during your stay but, as from Christmas 2017, all electricity will be included in the booking price. There is parking available for up to 2 vehicles below the house. Up to 2 well behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional cost of £25 per dog / per week. Regrettably no smoking is allowed. There is a cot and high chair available. Free WiFi is obtainable at the Tubestation Surf Lounge close to the property.

General Booking Information
Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday.
Short breaks are available during quieter periods.
£50 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.

Polzeath has one of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall with acres of flat golden sands. Lifeguards and board and wetsuit hire are available all summer. Polzeath has a selection of restaurants, cafes, public houses, surf shops and schools, a post office and convenience stores.
If golf is your thing, not only are the 18 holes of the Point at Polzeath on your doorstep but St Enodoc with its two 18 hole courses is also only a 10 minute drive with views overlooking Padstow and the Camel Estuary.
Within walking distance are also Rock, Daymer Bay (great for windsurfing), Pentire Point, St Minver and Trebetherick. If you brought man's best friend with you then the options are limitless. The Camel Trail is a flat 17 mile multi-use path that follows the old railway line between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin and on to Wadebridge and Padstow. Bike hire is available in Wadebridge and Padstow. There are coastal paths aplenty with stunning rugged Cornish coastline to admire - although there are some big cliffs if your dog is of the more excitable variety!
Fishing is available on the Camel River (passes can be acquired from Wadebridge Pet Shop).

Lovely place

Lovely place ,four of us have just spent a happy week here. Good position on the hill with a glorious view of the very pretty bay. Clean and comfy with everything we needed. Nightly visit from badgers waiting to be fed was a bonus. Owner contacted me imediatly to let me know we had left something and forwarding it on for me. Would stay here again.

nice location, friendly locals. Cottage adequate for 4 adults. Owners were friendly and helpful. Small suggestion:- the duvets seemed rather heavy perhaps lighter ones would be more comfortable Can't fault the heating system it was gloriously warm when we arrived on a cold windy day The flowers in the vase provided a lovely welcome

Great break, fantastic views.

The view over the bay makes this property, saying that it's very comfortable and has every thing you should need, As this property is on the side of a hill It's a steep short walk down the road to the beach.

Guest from Sheffield stayed for 7 nights.

Not basic, COMFORTABLE. Spot on for taking a dog.

All we could ask for in a dog/ teenage friendly rental. view wonderful, shame weather not the best, wonderful to get out and take windswept walks. Conservatory really made it spacious. O2 have no coverage in Polzeath, this was the only negative of our stay and not the owners fault. If you need your mobile maybe Polzeath not for you. Home from home, need I say more.

beautiful views

Comehither is a beautiful cottage with breathtaking views. The interior is clean and neat. Despite only having a shower there was more than enough space for 4 adults, one infant and two very excitable dogs. We loved how close the beach was and when it rained we could still watch the tide come in from the conservatory with a hot cup of tea.
