Falmouth is one of Cornwall's most popular places to visit because of it's unique mix of attractions, water sports, beaches, history and place to eat. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Pendennis Castle are both high on visitors lists of places to visit and the views from Pendennis on a fine day are truly magical. Falmouth is the sailing capital of Cornwall with its spectacular deep water natural harbour offering a haven for both cruisers and racers. Many events are held through the summer culminating in the famous Falmouth Regatta Week and associated shore side events. The beaches at Gyllyngvase & Swanpool are coarse sand and are wonderfully sunny south facing spots. You can ride the ferry to beautiful St Mawes for the day or take a delightful trip around the estuary stopping off at either Trelissick Gardens or Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea! There are plenty of places to eat & drink in Falmouth and recently Rick Stein has opened his Fish & Chip Restaurant & Oyster Bar at Discovery Quay adding to the superb mix across the town.

I cannot fault anything, the apartment was beautifully presented and so well equipped it felt like home. A ten minute walk into Falmouth town centre and a train station just around the corner. I would highly recommend Chy Mor, it was also peaceful and in a quiet neighbourhood. I hope to return some time in the future.

A beautiful apartment decorated and equipped to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need. The location was convenient for public transport, including train and ferries and also for Falmouth town centre which has an excellent range of shops, restaurants and of course, the harbour area. A very comfortable stay and would love to return

If you are interested in the maritime life of Falmouth this is the place to be. A few steps from Pendennis Marina, the very interesting Maritime Museum and all the best fish restaurants. The washing machine was out of action and we learned from earlier visitors' book comments that it had been so for some time - not good in a premium rated accommodation. Didn't bother me - try Rohan clothing! If you don't have small children and don't intend to bring sand or mud into this immaculate place, it's for you. The beds are the most comfortable ever experienced in this traveller's extensive journeys and the en-suite shower is rather special! There are abundant CDs and books( though my taste clearly differs from the owners' - I think we found 3 CDs we liked - each to their own taste in music!). But bring your own - there is a first rate Bose sound system. The Housekeeper Sandra is a gem.

A very comfortable apartment and also quiet when we were there. The 'master bedroom' has a bed with a footboard which is always a problem with my tall husband so our friend had this one and we had the twin made up as a double. This worked beautifully with a huge bed. There are several restaurants five to ten minutes away.

We booked a further week in the same property within hours of arrival, haven't regretted it for a moment since - counting down the days until next visit already.

This is a very comfortable and well-equipped apartment in an excellent location. I couldn't find fault with it! The owners have put a good deal of care into thinking about what people need and find helpful when on holiday. Falmouth has plenty to offer even when its wet, and there are lots of great places to eat within walking distance.

First impressions were very good apart from the door lock being difficult to open owing to a worn lock. The flat was spacious and comfortable. I thought it was a nice touch to have a printer on the wi-fi but when I tried to use it discovered it was out of paper. We like mugs for tea but only two large ones were provided. There were no cereal bowls. We had an enjoyable holiday despite the weather. When loading the car on departure day the front door lock was very irritating.

We stayed a week at Chy Mor and could not find fault with the apartment; it is beautifully decorated and furnished with tons of little extras like lifestyle magazines, a DVD library, and docking stations in the bedrooms and a selection of board games in case of a rainy day. It really was a pleasure to stay here and the bottle of prosecco and little welcome message was a lovely touch. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want and everything has a high end quality feel to it. It is a ten minute walk into town and to the beach so in the evening it was great to have the option to either enjoy the lively harbour and town or enjoy the retreat of the quiet apartment. Will be recommending to friends and family. Oh! I have to mention the shower, it was heaven!!

We've stayed here once before and returned as we enjoyed it so much. The apartment is pretty much the same (i.e. great), though the change from wood floors to carpet throughout was not an improvement in our opinion. In the warm weather the house was much too hot, and we would have preferred the sleek floors that were present on our first visit. However, the apartment is still top notch and comfortable, with all you need for a nice stay. The one thing that marred our trip was getting a parking ticket in the apartment building car park, apparently for not having a permit on display in the car. We are in dispute with the company (Armtrac) that seem to have a very poor reputation as opportunists who intimidate car owners to pay fines that seem unenforceable in law. This draconian approach to the parking at the site would put us off using the apartment in future.

A real home from home. Not what I would expect from a holiday home with all the little extras. A perfect position to get to the shops and the beach. Wonderful.

Spacious apartment, superbly equipped and spotlessly clean in a great location. We couldn't have asked for more. We will certainly recommend to friends and hope to be back ourselves some day.

Very clean and comfortable apartment close to Falmouth centre. Books, magazines, dvds and games In case of bad weather I guess but we didn't get time to use them as there was plenty to do out and about!

We found the accommodation in Falmouth to be well appointed and comfortable almost luxury!! We were a few minutes from town centre and the sea. Falmouth is an interesting marine town well worth a visit, especially if you like ships. Well served by good food and good pubs.
Guest from Littlehampton stayed for 7 nights.
Absolutely beautiful apartment, decor is fantastic with real attention to detail. Kitchen extremely well stocked. The location is fantastic for either walking into town in one direction or to the wonderful Swanpool or Ghylly beach( and cafe!!) in the other direction. Really could not fault it and would definitely use this apartment again.

Lovely comfortable flat in a handy location for Falmouth Town. The flat was immaculately presented, light and spacious also very well equipped. I could easily live here.
Guest from Great Missenden stayed for 7 nights.
Chy Mor met with all of our requirements and provided a fine backdrop to our first proper holiday in Cornwall. Our Australian companions were impressed too. If the flat lacked anything it would be a " House Manual" giving details of fire escape procedures, house appliances, medical services and other local amenities etc.
Guest from Cockburnspath stayed for 7 nights.
V comfortable apartment, ideally located for the shops of Falmouth, beaches and for the main focus of our stay, our son's graduation. Beautiful sunshine. Only negative comment is that I did not like the rugs in the kitchen as they were a slip hazard so we removed those Day 2 - unnecessary to have them.
Guest from Fleet stayed for 7 nights.
This apartment is very well finished, well decorated, high quality en-suite, good kitchen and main bathroom, and nice carpets. Good location, although it doesn't benefit from a view. Walk to the nearest beach can almost be done on the level (no Hill in the way), same as the short walk to the Main Street and Marina area. Nice and quiet too, which I don't think apartments near Marina will be. Only thing I would improve is the sofas. Not as comfortable as they look, but a small thing compared to everything else. We would certainly consider staying here again.
Guest from Farnham stayed for 7 nights.
Excellent property and kitted out to a high standard. Noisy sofas made it hard to relax on them and a larger bed in the second bedroom would be good - there s plenty of space . Providing a second key would also be good as the property is for 4 people - we arranged to have one once we had arrived but we can't be the only people who don't want to do everything together ! Really lovely apartment - one of the best we have stayed in .

Wonderful stay at Chy Mor and very lucky with the weather! The apartment was absolutely lovely and very comfortable. We love staying in Falmouth as there is so much to do and also a great base as it is not too far to the north coast and many other great places to visit. .

Both Ann and I had a fantastic week in Falmouth and wish we could have stayed another month or forever even!!! We ate at some superb restaurants, especially Cribs Caribbean Restaurant, went into some really nice pubs , met some lovely friendly people and did some great coastal walks. As regards the apartment, it was faultless and so enjoyable to use as our base for the week. It oozed quality and the shower was really impressive to say the least!!!. Also it was within a short distance of Falmouth town centre and therefore I didn't need to use the car most days. We will definitely look to re-book for next year and for a longer period. We would also have no hesitation in recommending Cornwalls Cottages Ltd to our friends and family. It was easy to book, even though we left it until the last minute, we got a great price and the apartment was exactly as advertised. Once again, thank you for a great holiday. Mark & Ann

The apartment was clean and exceptionally well furnished and decorated. Location was good being 5 mins into town and beach/castle. Overall the best place we have stayed in Falmouth over the last 5 years.
Guest from Didcot stayed for 7 nights.
Gorgeous apartment perfectly located for both Beaches and Town, we will go back and my parents are going in July! However a block of retirement flats are going up opposite, although this won't alter the view much, there will be a lot of noise for the next 6 months or so they started the last day of our holiday!
Guest from Middlesbrough stayed for 7 nights.
This is a great well presented apartment with every convenience provided. The location was just perfect for our family group. It sits in a quiet part of the town and within a few hundred yards of the main street and waterfront of Falmouth with it's many holiday attractions. The admin and booking arrangements with Cornwall Cottages was first class and we will definitely use the accommodation and Cornwall Cottages again with confidence. Many thanks for a quality experience.

Guest from Southsea stayed for 10 nights.
Lucky to find this apartment still available. Great location, convenient for both town and beaches. Even more spacious than photos suggest. Decorated with style but so comfortable too. Probably the best-equipped kitchen of any Falmouth holiday-let we have rented. Our weather was good but if it had been bad, we could have entertained ourselves with the large selection of DVDs, books, CDs and board games. Since our visit we have been hunting the Internet to see if we can find a shower system as fantastic as the one in the en suite!

This Apartment was excellent in every way and would not hesitate to recommend it , spacious, clean etc. the caretaker needs a compliment as it was spotless It was like going into someones home everything you would require on tap, luxury.
Guest from Farnborough stayed for 7 nights.
The flat was very comfortable with everything that we needed and more besides. Having asked for 2 bedrooms to be made up, I did rather hope that I wouldn't have to make up one of the rooms myself. Eventually I managed to get hold of the housekeeper who advised where the additional bedding was. But this was disappointing. Having looked for a flat specifically with a lift to enable access for my mother, I was disappointed to discover on arrival that there were 6 steps to the front door, a further 6 steps just inside and that having used the lift to get to the 1st floor, there were 9 steps down to the flat!! It would have been helpful to know that in advance. It made life rather difficult for the week we had there. Great flat and location for the able bodied though.

New Quay House is the most fabulous, spacious, Grade II listed, part Queen Anne, part Georgian property with the most stunning panoramic views over the water in three directions. There is a private garden with a summerhouse right at the water’s edge and the whole house oozes peace and tranquility.
