Bude Holiday Cottages in Cornwall
We have a selection of lovely self catering holiday cottages in & around Bude Cornwall.
Bude is Cornwall's most northern town and has been a favourite seaside resort since Victorian times. The coastal scenery surrounding the beaches of Bude are quite beautiful. There is a huge amount of bird life for the dedicated twitcher and some wonderful walks along the cliff tops. Along the coast is Sandy Mouth which is ideal for families due to its lovely sand and plenty of rock pools. Morwenstow, which is just a little further towards Devon is just south of Henna Cliff. The cliff is the highest in Cornwall and has a sheer drop down to the sea. From here you can see across to South Wales.
The centre of Bude has a theatre, concerts, dances and fetes as well as other events throughout the season. There is a new Visitors Centre in the Crescent car park which has an extensive display by the North Cornwall Heritage Coast and Countryside Service including a children's area. There is a weekly Cornish Furry Dance and an annual Carnival Week. Bude is also home to a popular jazz festival which takes place each August.
