We enjoyed our stay in a beautiful location. The hamper of goodies on arrival was most welcome. This was a good base to tour the local area. The cottage was clean and beautiful, well equipped kitchen, convenbienbtly situated and quiet to come back to each evening. It may seem a minor point, but as keen cooks we especially appreciated a set of decent knives to use. So often these are cheap and blunt but not this time.

We wish to convey our delight in staying at Bluebell Cottage. It had everything anyone could possibly require especially kitchen wise. A very welcome hamper was provided on arrival with a wide selection of Cornish products. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, on hand if you needed anything or just to chat and explain the best places to shop or eat. Lovely peaceful cottage in the country, we really loved it.
Guest from Stroud stayed for 6 nights.
We had a lovely holiday here. Very welcoming and a lovely hamper waiting to be used. The beds were so comfy and it was clean throughout. Lovely walks in the grounds, seeing lots of wildlife. There were outdoor games waiting for us to play eg football, crochet, boule, swing ball to name a few and books to read for those not so active. It is central for many places and only a short drive away from the coast and lovey beaches. Marjorie and Kevn were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. Guest from Loughton stayed for 7 nights.
We had an excellent holiday based at Rivermead Farm cottages. The cottage (Bluebell) was fully equipped (including shared washing and drying facilities, essential with young boys!) and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the welcome hamper and the lovely home made scones! Kevin and Marjorie were very friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive. We were lucky enough to enjoy eating our dinner at the picnic bench outside the cottage most evenings and had several pleasant walks around the grounds by the lake and river. The location was great, with easy access to both south (less than 30 mins) and north coasts (~40 mins) as well as local attractions such as Retmorel Castle. We have already considered returning next year.
Guest from Oberkulm stayed for 7 nights.
