At the front of Appleloft is a lovely sized private garden enclosed by an old stone wall, ideal for enjoying summer evenings. The cottage has plenty of character with exposed beams and a quirky, slightly sloping floor. Appleloft was originally used for storing apples for the main farmhouse and some say there is still a slight scent. There is even a log burner for those cold winter nights.

Forming part of Pencuke Farm, Appleloft is one of 5 holiday cottages where you can benefit from the superb facilities available on the site. There are 18 acres for guests to enjoy and some lovely rare breed animals on site. The cottage has a a private garden to enjoy, as well as use of a large communal garden with spacious BBQ area offering stunning views over countryside and out to sea. There is also a games room with a pool table and table football. The farm shop stocks its own meat, eggs and fresh produce as well as its own range of oils, pickles & preserves. Guests can also enjoy rustic bread, organic milk & ice-cream.

Pencuke Farm is only a few miles inland from the spectacular north Cornwall coast around Crackington Haven. With this dramatic coastline and stunning countryside all round to explore, this really is a fantastic place to stay. The farm offers guests the opportunity to relax against a stunning backdrop, whilst being located close to beaches and all the outdoor activities you would expect to enjoy from a holiday in Cornwall.

Accommodation
Ground Floor: Kitchen, dining room with views of the garden, separate living room, twin bedroom & family bathroom.

First Floor: Spacious master bedroom taking up the whole of the upstairs area with exposed beams and slightly sloping floor.

Exterior: Private enclosed garden with external furniture and BBQ facilities. 18 acres to explore with woods and stream. Games room with table football, pool table and extensive DVD library.

Facilities & Services

Heating is via central heating. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A tumble drier is located in Pencuke Farm laundry room which is coin operated and available to guests. The sitting room area with its own log burner, has Freeview TV & DVD player and a large DVD library for you to choose from. There is WiFi available at the property. There is an iron and ironing board.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, & bed linen are all included but you will need to provide your own towels. One basket of logs will be provided on arrival, additional logs can be purchased from the farm office. Up to 2 well behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional cost of £15 per dog / per week. We regret that no smoking is allowed. There is plenty of space for cars to park. Cot and high chair are available but must be pre-booked.

General Booking Information

Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday.
Short breaks are available during quieter periods.

£100 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
