Built of granite in the late 1700s and furnished with antiques and sumptuous rich fabrics, Anjarden Farmhouse feels like a small stately home! The house is set in beautiful countryside and has a wonderful enclosed garden to relax in. Anjarden Byre, built in the 18th Century, is a cosy detached cottage converted from three granite barns into one 'L" shaped property. Set across the courtyard from Anjarden Farmhouse, with 360 degree panoramic rural views, looking south out of the valley over open farmland towards the sea and Lamorna Cove. A tranquil rural setting of natural charm and beauty in the heart of "Old Cornwall". The town of Penzance is only a few miles away and Lands End, with its magnificant sunsets is just 6 miles away. The main Farmhouse sleeps up to 6 people and the Byre is conveniently situated just across the courtyard sleeping a further 4 people. These 2 properties combine to make a fabulous place to stay for a couple of families or a small group.

Accommodation

Anjarden Farmhouse

Ground Floor: Open plan sitting / dining area with cast iron stove. The kitchen has beautiful limed oak units and granite worktops. There are two double bedrooms, one with a king size bed the other with a standard double. The separate family bathroom has a roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. All beds have luxury internal pocket-sprung mattresses for the perfect night's sleep!

First Floor: Master bedroom ancient exposed beams, king sized bed and en-suite bathroom with roll top bath.

Exterior: Private, enclosed, secluded garden with external furniture & gas BBQ.

Anjarden Byre

Ground Floor Only: Open plan living / kitchen / dining area with granite inglenook fireplace. Master double bedroom with four poster 4'6" bed. Twin room with en-suite shower room and a separate family bathroom.

Exterior: Enclosed garden and patio area with external furniture and BBQ facilities.

Facilities & Services

Heating is via convector heaters throughout except the lounge which has a wood burning stove. Both kitchens are fully equipped with a gas oven & hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine & dishwasher. Both living areas have digital Freeview TV & DVD player & stereo. All bedrooms' in Anjarden Farmhouse have TV's. There is WiFi available at the property. There is an iron & ironing board, electric indoor airer & outside rotary clothes dryer.

Miscellaneous

Electricity, heating & bed linen are all included but you will need to provide your own towels. Alternatively towels can be provided at a cost of £2.50 per set. Please bring your own beach towels. There are parking facilities for up to 4 vehicles. Dogs will be permitted at a small additional charge per week at Anjarden Farmhouse, however we regret no dogs are allowed at Anjarden Byre. Please note that the owner, who lives on site, has a very friendly dog. There is a cot available upon request.

£300 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
