Built of granite in the late 1700s and furnished with antiques and sumptuous rich fabrics, Anjarden Farmhouse feels like a small stately home! This luxury house is set in beautiful countryside and has a wonderful enclosed garden to relax in. To be at Anjarden is to step back in time when life was more tranquil, far less stressed and so much more civilised.
Anjarden Farmhouse is a granite detached farmhouse, with 360' panoramic rural views, looking south over open farmland out of the valley towards the sea and Lamorna Cove.
A tranquil rural setting of natural charm and beauty in the heart of "Old Cornwall". The town of Penzance is only a few miles away and Lands End, with its magnificant sunsets is just 6 miles away. Set across the gravelled courtyard from another small cottage and with its own enclosed garden, this lovely old house is full of luxury, charm and romantic character.

Penzance is just a 15 minute drive away. Every June, Penzance holds the Golowan (Feast of St John) & Mazey Day celebrations. This week long celebration attracts many visitors and traffic is banished from the centre of Penzance during Mazey Day when the streets become lined with stalls and hold colourful processions. From Penzance harbour you can either catch a ferry to the Isles of Scilly or travel to the islands via helicopter from Penzance Heliport. The sub tropical gardens of Morrab are definitely worth visiting.
We had a wonderful week. The weather has been mostly great. Have been to all the usual gorgeous places, St Michaels Mount, Mousehole, St Ives & had a fantastic time! Anjarden is superb. It has been restored with taste & filled with luxurious furniture & equipped to the highest standard! We have felt very comfortable & at home here & would love to come back!
