In a beautiful creekside setting, surrounded by rolling countryside, this cottage has been recently refurbished to provide the perfect peaceful retreat for those looking for a complete escape. Watch the wildlife on the incoming tide from your bedroom window, wander along the creekside path through unique plum orchards or in the winter relax beside the cosy woodburning stove. The quintessential escape, yet only 10 minutes drive from Truro with its superb shops & restaurants.
Bethel Cottage is a traditional creekside Cornish cottage with a cosy character lounge, newly fitted kitchen complete with warming wood burning stove and 2 bedrooms, both full of character.
The main bedroom has wonderful views over the creek and there is an incredibly relaxing bathroom with a free standing bath from which you can enjoy views!
The cottage is surrounded by farmland with only 2 other empty cottages nearby (about 150 yards).

Ground Floor:
Lounge, kitchen / diner, boot room.
First Floor: 2 double bedrooms, shower room with WC, bathroom with free standing bath.
Facilities & Services
Heating on the ground floor is via the cosy wood burning stove and an electric fire in the lounge.
Upstairs, heating is via electric panel heaters.
The kitchen is newly fitted with a fridge / freezer compartment, a range of cupboards, microwave, electric cooker.
There is no dishwasher or washing machine.
The lounge has a TV & DVD player.
There is WiFi available.
Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, wood for the log burner, bed linen & towels are all included. There is enough parking space for 2 vehicles.
Please note that access to the property is through a farm yard and along a levelled, but unmade farm track.
Up to 2 dogs are allowed at a small additional charge. A basket of logs are provided for the wood burner, thereafter available from Tregothnan. Regrettably no smoking is allowed.
Extras
A welcome pack is provided in the cottage for your arrival, but also available as an extra is a very special hamper selection of Tregothnan produce including Kea plum jam, honey, Tregothnan tea & chocolates (£30).
Also available is a stunning private tour of the Tregothnan Gardens (£70 per person).
This tour is very special as the gardens are rarely open to the general public.
You can be picked up & returned by river launch (tide dependent) from outside your cottage, the tour lasts around 2 hours and concludes with a Tregothnan cream tea.
It is a very special treat!
General Booking Information
Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday.
Short breaks are available during quieter periods.
£100 security deposit is required to be pre-authorised on your card.
