In the remote countryside of West Cornwall lies the ruins Carn Euny Ancient Village: an Iron Age settlement believed to have been occupied until the Roman times. Rows and circles of stones mark the foundations of walls, round houses and even an underground passage! The site is amazingly well-preserved and is now under the management of the English Heritage group.
The site is free to visit and open for any reasonable daytime hours. However, we would not recommend visiting on a rainy day: the walk to the site can get extremely muddy and the village itself has no shelter from wind or rain!
